HOLLY STONE
Holly delights in teaching students of all ages and levels of experience in oil and acrylic painting, watercolors, pastels and mixed media.
Over the past 20 years she has taught at the Edina Art Center, Artistry in Bloomington, White Bear Center for the Arts, Minnetonka Art Center, and numerous outreach classes in the Metro area.
She recently lived and studied in India to pursue her interest in Tibetan Buddhist sacred art. She is currently involved in making sacred art from several cultures as well as intuitive spiritual art pieces.

Enjoy Impressionist paintings?
Come learn how to design paintings and create the vibrant and energetic brush strokes that show the sparkle and movement of light as developed by Impressionist painters.
Session consists of 3 classes: $35
Bring your own supplies, or for a $15 supply fee you will be given everything you need to complete an Impressionist painting- canvas, paints, palette knives, and brushes to use.
All levels welcome. No previous painting experience needed.

We will use various techniques to explore this versatile medium, experimenting with everything from realism to abstract design.
Techniques will be demonstrated for washes, dripping, dry brush, “blooms”, masking, textures and more.
You will have an opportunity to paint a landscape scene, a mandala, and an intuitive painting designed from drip techniques.
Session consists of 3 classes: $35
Bring your own supplies, or for a $15 supply fee you will be given all supplies needed-paper, paint, use of brushes, etc.
